Role Overview

ECONET Wireless is hiring a Head – AI Data Services and Bpo Transformation in Harare. This position builds and manages a novel growth engine, shaping commercial models, driving revenue, and establishing robust operational frameworks for AI-supported customer interactions and data preparation at scale.

Core Responsibilities

The incumbent will direct go-to-market strategies, sales funnels, financial targets, and profit margins while targeting enterprise clients, technology platforms, and research entities. Duties include establishing structured service portfolios encompassing annotation, transcription, translation, and model assessment alongside structuring pricing models like per-task fees or managed services. Additional responsibilities involve organizing delivery workflows, enforcing data privacy regulations, and leading an interdisciplinary team across operations, commercial, and quality assurance.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must hold a relevant undergraduate degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Commercial studies, or an equivalent field, paired with a postgraduate qualification in technology, business, data science, or a related discipline. Candidates need 6 to 8 years of relevant experience operating at senior decision-making levels within technology services, BPO, data operations, or digital platforms, alongside proven success in closing enterprise-level contracts and managing financial P&L.
