Role Overview

Preeminence Hardware seeks a dependable individual for a part-time operational driving role based in Harare. The incumbent will provide reliable transportation services for management and personnel, execute business trips, and handle document and merchandise deliveries. Additional duties involve supporting procurement tasks, gathering quotations, ensuring vehicles remain clean and roadworthy, performing pre-trip inspections, logging vehicle usage, and strictly adhering to road safety and defensive driving protocols. Immediate reporting of mechanical issues, defects, or incidents is mandatory to ensure official vehicles serve only approved corporate functions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must possess a valid Class 2 driver’s licence and a valid Defensive Driving Certificate. Candidates should bring prior driving expertise, strong familiarity with regional geography, excellent interpersonal abilities, and professional punctuality. A spotless driving history is strongly preferred.
