Role Overview
Sino-Zimbabwe Cement Company is seeking an experienced professional based 38 km from Gweru to oversee and refine manufacturing operations. The position focuses on fine-tuning raw mix formulations, clinker creation, and milling procedures to meet established benchmarks.
Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent will track kiln, cooler, and grinder performance alongside material makeup. Daily responsibilities incorporate XRF testing and physical-chemical evaluations to guide timely operational tweaks. Additional duties involve correcting workflow irregularities, abiding by SHEQ guidelines and standard operating procedures, and reading technical guides and diagrams written in Mandarin while mapping Chinese industrial parameters against global benchmarks.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must possess a relevant degree in Chemical Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a recognized equivalent. A mandatory background of 10-year hands-on experience working in the cement industry is required, alongside the capability to comprehend technical manuals.
